French Tourist into Bali Raised
French tourists who came visited Bali during 2009 was about 113. 453 people and it get raise 46.62 percent compared with last year visiting that was merely 77.379 people.
“Most of them came through Ngurah Rai airport, with a flight straight from their country. From those amount of French tourists, only 54 of them recorded came from the seaport within a cruise,” said the head of Bali Province’s Central Statistic Department, Ida Komang Wisnu in Denpasar.
He said, that Frenchmen in visiting the tourism objects tend to enjoy the natural views as well as Bali’s unique cultural art while accompanied by 157 professional guiders able to speak French fluently.
They also visited villagers who have daily activities thick with ritual activities. That occasion also used to buy souvenir made by local small industries as well as local homemade craft.
Ida Komang Wisnu also added that French visiting Bali is in seventh rank from ten countries visited Bali the most.
That country give 4.76 percent contribution from the total amount of 2.38 million tourists visiting Bali in 2009, increase 14.46 percent compared with last year visiting recorded for 2.08 million people.
From those ten countries, six of them showed quite enliven escalation whether the other four are decreased.
Those six countries aside from French are Australia with 42.52 percent escalation, Malaysia with 4.21 percent, 22.14 percent for Holland and England for 13.07 percent.
Meanwhile for the four countries that showed derivation number of visiting is Taiwan with 7.67 percent, South Korea with 7.43 percent, Japan for 7.20 percent and 9.11 percent for German, said Ida Komang wisnu.
