Germany to Bali Raised 23.96 Percent
Germany tourists holiday in Bali reached 15.655 people during January-March period in 2010, raised 23.96 percent compared with the same period last year that is only 12.629
“Most of them come through Ngurah Rai airport with flight straightly from their country. 497 comes from port with cruise,” said head of Bali Statistic Center Bureau, Ida Komang Wisnu, in Denpasar on Tuesday.
He said, German, France and Netherland are Bali new tourism marketing area since those three countries people more and more visiting Bali that considered as unexpected event to take place.
“German, France and Netherland keep entering top ten countries supplying tourists to Bali,” said Ida Komang Wisnu.
German ranks ten as tourists’ contributor for 2.78 percent from the total tourists come to Bali that is around 563.778 people during three first months in 2010.
That condition raised significantly 14.95 percent compared to the same period last year recorded 490.450 people, said Ida Komang Wisnu.
Ida Komang Wisnu explained, from the top ten countries for tourist supplier to Bali, seven of them raised significantly whilst three of them decreased.
Three countries decreased are South Korea 1.62 percent, Japan minus 22.06 percent and Malaysia minus 8.03 percent.
Meanwhile, seven countries raised are German and France both for 8.16 percent, Russia 4.14 percent, Taiwan 20.13 percent, China 3.29 percent, Netherland 59.75 percent and Australia 67.11 percent, said Ida Komang Wisnu.
