Senior photographer Ida Bagus Putra Adnyana exhibit his shot results with the object of some artisan and popular figure in Bali, held at Geriya Santrian Sanur starting from June 11 to July 30 2010.

According to Ida Bagus Putra Adnyana who familiarly called Gustra in Sanur Bali, on Wednesday, mentioned that those seven people became his shooting objects were Made Budiana, Nyoman Mandra, Made Wianta, Nyoman Gunarsa, D Tjandra Kirana, Ketut Liyer and Ni Nyoman Sani.

“In this exhibition we take “Face Landscapes” as its theme. It is due to that face landscape could telling its full history that is totally different or lightening an authenticity which could gone within a second,” he said.

It is said that that the exhibition want to featuring the objects activities in their daily life including when they plunged in thought of thinking the next activity.

“In that 28 pictures, all objects doing their style expression and daily activities. From that pictures the visitor could see insight that object faces,” he said.

He says his party will try to immortalize Balinese artists who have best artworks and able to rise Bali image whether in nasional or international level.

“I have obsession to enshrine artists pictures and people figures who contributed in Bali development,” he said.

Nonetheless, Gusta said that he himself could not decide when those pictures will become legend. But his party will continuously keeping the objects of his shot result.

“In order to achieve the point determining his object shot, I keep watching it from television or reading newspaper. The object of the pictures cannot be careless people but they were chosen after selected based on their achievements in national or international level,” he said.

When asked about level of difficulty for taking the object pictures, Gusta says that in digital era everything are not so difficult like conventional era. With digital camera, the result can be seen on scene.

“Digital camera really help me in taking picture of the objects since the result can be seen right away. If it considered lack of lightning, the photographer could takes it once again with different angle, if in the past everything depend on feeling,” he said.

Thus, he said, there is no reason for today’s photographer lack of object to immortalize. Even with picture, we could depict everything around the object.

“More picture not only describe the object of but it also could the depict the real condition around the object,” he said.
