Bali Governor, Made Mangku Pastika recommended for Regencies/city in Bali starting used international standard quality in maintaining the cleanliness and environment quality in Bali.

Besides regencies/city in Bali hoped would not get too satisfied with Adipura Award they achieved. Environment and cleanliness quality rising is needed since Bali is an international tourism destination.

Pastika in his statement in Renon (June 14) asserted that cleanliness and garbage nowadays becomes one of the main problem in Bali. It is due to the tourists visiting in Bali starting to complain the waste management in Bali.

This becomes new challenge for Bali provincial government as well as the regional and city’s government in Bali to consistently maintaining their environment cleanliness and quality.

“It means that we should be more consistent. If people give us number one title we should showed them that we really are number one,” he said firmly.

Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika hopes that all regencies and city in Bali would not proud only at adipura state only. Moreover, this year recorded that eight regencies in Bali achieved Adipura award. However, in another side Bali slowly keep goes through environmental quality decrease.
