			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Government and people in Bali welcoming well the status of Subak, the traditional irrigation organization becoming part of World Heritage in traditional division as acknowledge by United National Educational Scientific Cultural Organization.<span id="more-716"></span></p>
<p>“Hope to make Subak become one of World Heritage was through 12 years of hard work,” Secretary of Subak for World Heritage arrangement team, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Windia, said in Denpasar.</p>
<p>According to him, UNESCO decision to nurturing subak was demand for attention from central government, Bali provincial government and regional.</p>
<p>“It is about how farmer can work and do their job as a farmer without any threat of losing their land, protect it from change of function,” said this Udayana Professor.</p>
<p>He reminds the government to act seriously in regards to farmers. “Do not let their condition worsening. If it happens, acknowledgement from UNESCO will be pulling off and brings shame onto Indonesia names in world eyes,” Windia said.</p>
<p>Vice Minister of Educational and Cultural Department Windu Nuryanti stated that Subak Bali is the mirror of Tri Hita Karana just approved to be set as World Heritage by UNESCO.</p>
<p>According to him, the decision was decided through a plenary session at St. Petersburg Russia on June 20th, 2012.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wila Trilaksani Turker (20), a college student of Painting Art Subject of Fine Art and Design Faculty (FSRD) of Indonesia Art Institute (ISI) Denpasar got a chance to follow international exhibition in Macau, China. “Material of painting art should be ready on site. This exhibition will last for a month along 12 May until 12 June 2012,” said Wila Trilaksani who accompanied with Dean Assistant III FSRD ISI Denpasar, Anak Agung Tirta Rai in Denpasar on Sunday.<span id="more-709"></span></p>
<p>Wila said this international exhibition also involved other participants from other countries in the world by bringing the theme of butterfly that made by food stuffs. “This activity held by MGM, a stars hotel in China which is promoting and making painting from foodstuffs that safe to eat,” said Wila Trilaksani. Wila is being the only participant from Indonesia as she will depart next week to follow this international event for a month. Based on an invitation from the committee, there are many participants from other countries instead of Indonesia. Some of them are coming from England and United States.</p>

<p>In the event attended by the chairman of ASEAN Supreme Audit Institution, President Yudhoyono stated that monetary transparency has become the main concern for Indonesia government.</p>
<p>It was the cause of good and charismatic government. “ASEANSAI will become one of the main factors the realization of prosperous ASEAN community,” said the President.</p>
<p>In this occasion, Mr. Presiden also conveyed another issue this country seriously faced that is corruption eradication and law enforcement.</p>
<p>Previously, before President Yudhoyono made speech, chairman of Republic Indonesia Audit Bureau, Hadi Poernomo had given his welcome speech to heads of Supreme Audit Institution, the member of ASEANSAI.</p>
<p>It has mentioned in Mr. President speech, that those heads of Audit Institution will sign an agreement to form ASEANSAI consists of Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Flag ceremony of 66th Anniversary of Indonesia Independence on Wednesday was not only doing among local people environment but it was also held in some international schools in Bali. They involved foreigners like one was in Gandhi Memorial International School in Renon, Denpasar. They invited teachers, students, and staffs to do Independence ceremony solemnly.<span id="more-552"></span></p>
<p>Though the independence celebration is not bright like others, but this event was not only attending by local teachers but also foreign teachers and students. “We had prepared this independence ceremony. The preparation is short due to we have not much time,” said Kristianti, one of teacher in this school. Though it held short preparation, but the most important thing is the meaning of the celebration. It should give them nationalism feeling to the students though they got international curriculum in this school.</p>
<p>In this ceremony, all of teacher had to use batik uniform. The rule is also valid for foreign teachers. The unique facts pointed to some teachers from India who are fluently speaking Indonesian language were also singing Indonesia Raya. The head of the choir group was a music teacher from Philippine also looked gladly singing Indonesia Raya song. However Kristianti added annually Independence day celebration was not hold any traditional games like panjat pinang, eat crackers, and marble games. It is causing by the absence of the most students, further the students usually are back home after flag ceremony.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Taman Ayun Temple in Badung Regency of Bali has been suggested by Bali Provincial Government as World Cultural Heritage through UNESCO.<span id="more-522"></span></p>
<p>Head of Bali Provincial Cultural Bureau, I Ketut Suastika stated it after have meeting with Badung Regent, AA Gde Agung in central.</p>
<p>&#8220;Temple area of Taman Ayun on September 2011 will become the nominee in UNESCO, one of organization under United Nation,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Ketut Suastika explained that aside from Taman Ayun Temple, Bali Provincial government also suggested other three areas such as Batur Lake, Pakerisan River and Catur Angga Batukaru.</p>
<p>He said that the four area suggested was UNESCO nominee and it remain only one last step to convince that very organization to make them the world cultural heritage.</p>
<p>&#8220;The fourth area suggested were those of one unite integration, therefore people need perception equation and support from all parties, either from government and its people so when UNESCO evaluated the area, we will in our full preparation,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>In related with that verification, hoped that Taman Ayun temple area will keeps its cleanliness including the pond circling over the temple.</p>
<p>“Verification result will be out around June or July 2012 at UNESCO meeting in Paris,”  he said.</p>
<p>Head of Bali Provincial Cultural Heritage, Alit Arta Wiguna said that the fourt area is one so it need serious concern for all parties that Taman Ayun Temple and the others can be as World Cultural Heritage.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Gde Agung Regent delivered his gratitude toward the award given by Bali government regarding that very suggestion.</p>
<p>He explained that Taman Ayun Temple area applied Tri Hita Karana concept.</p>
<p>“We hope the area suggested really maintained well then every thing will end well with our strong cultural diplomation,” he said.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>UN permanent representative for Indonesia, Ambassador Hasan Kleib said the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) would produce five documents on its 16th Ministerial Meeting on May 23-27.<span id="more-485"></span></p>
<p>He said the meeting which is held to follow up and discuss the movement&#8217;s journey after the last summit in Sharm El Sheik in Egypt in July 2009 would produce five important documents regarding the organization&#8217;s vision for the next 50 years.</p>
<p>The first document is a final comprehensive document containing 630 paragraphs while the second one is a &#8220;<a href="http://www.villarentalbali.com">Bali</a> Commemorative Declaration&#8221; to mark the NAM&#8217;s 50th anniversary containing not thematic issues but the NAM&#8217;s position with regard to challenges and opportunities in the next 50 years. Hasan said there would also be a new declaration consisting of three paragraphs about the NAM&#8217;s position on total nuclear arms eradication.</p>
<p>He said two other documents would  relates to Palestine, one of them is about Palestine in general, the NAM&#8217;s general stand towards injustices happening in that country and on whether the political and refugee issues and independence issue would be brought to the UN General Assembly next September. The fifth document will be a declaration on Palestine political prisoners in Israel.</p>
<p>The 16th NAM Ministerial Meeting is attended by ministerial-level officials, vice ministers from 118 countries and a vice president from Honduras, observers from 18 countries, invitees from 26 countries, observers from 10 international organizations and invitees from 23 international organizations. During the meeting the NAM would also formally accept new members, namely Fiji and Azerbaijan, to bring  the number of the organization members to 120 countries.</p>
<p>The NAM is now led by Egypt which together with Indonesia is now organizing the ministerial meeting under the theme &#8220;Sharing Vision for Contributing to NAM for the next 50 years.&#8221;</p>

<p>However, Bali provincial government decided for the mean time not to call back their students who studying in Japan right now.</p>
<p>Spoke person for Bali Provincial Government, Ketut Teneng in his statement in Renon, Monday (March 14) said that Bali origin student repatriation that have work internship there is not needed since the condition is still safe enough. Moreover, most of the student there lives far from tsunami location.</p>
<p>“Every things is fine. This is work internship, until their time is over there thus they will come back home. Fortunately, their location was on mountain areas thus, their activities will run like usual. Therefore, the provincial government needs no make chaos over it since their activities will run like normal,” Ketut Teneng said.</p>
<p>Ketut Teneng mentioned that according to Bali Man Power Agency number of student from Bali who has work internship in Japan reached 340 students. Half of them work on agricultural, animal husbandry and small electronic business development.</p>

He chooses Bali to spend his nine days of holiday before departed to Malaysia and take some training at Sepang Circuit on January 28.<span id="more-399"></span></p>
<p>When he was ask comment regarding Valentino Rossi, Lorenzo keep viewing him as a legend in racing. He confessed it when meet with the press on Meet and Greet Jorge Lorenzo at Bali Safari and Marine Park, on Monday (January 17) yesterday.</p>
<p>This 2010 MotoGP world champion said that it is interesting to watch two racing legend this season. He conveyed that all this time Ducati famous with his talent and has become the legend in racing world, the same with Rossi and both are from Italy.</p>
<p>“It will become interesting seeing the two legends, that are from Italy cooperates in this season racing,” he said as he commented Rossi departed from Yamaha. He confessed that he would try hard to maintain his champion. Moreover, Yamaha also is in the middle of preparing new motor racing. It also admitted by William Favero, Yamaha Motor Racing Communication Manager. “We will very busy on this MotoGP season this year. But we believe, Yamaha Japan could make very reliable motor so this year Yamaha could gain much better achievement,” Favero explained.</p>
<p>Lorenzo attended an event with Yamaha Indonesia and keep his promise to come once again after taking the world champion title of MotoGP 2010 with him. The third area he visited after Jakarta and Surabaya is Bali. The same with other two areas before, his fans in Bali also welcomed his arrival with merry.</p>
<p>When Jorge Lorenzo climbed onto the stage make all the fans cheering and waving. This Spanish guy then greet them with Balinese “kenken kabare?”</p>
<p>It looks like Lorenzo had really falling in love with <a href="http://www.balivillas.co">Bali</a>, aside from greet his fans in the island using the native language; it is the second time he choose Bali as his holiday island. He would spend nine days in Bali and has planned to visit some tourism objects and spending his time on the beach. “I will spend myself running on the beach and perhaps even playing soccer beach,” he said whilst mentioned that he also would visited Komodo Island.</p>

<p>Judge Sigit Sutanto SH stated that the defendant proved legally and convincingly against section 196 Indonesian Republic Law no. 36 year 2009 about health as well as section 53 act 1 Book of Criminal Law<br />
The defendant also fined 10 million Rupiah for six month subsides in jail.</p>
<p>The verdict from the judge is the same with prosecutor demand, Wayan Wetri SH. Due to this judge verdict then the defendant accompanied by his lawyer, Ali Sadikin S.H. would reconsider the decision once again.<br />
The defendant was arrested on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at international arrival terminal of Ngurah Rai Airport in Tuban Badung.</p>
<p>Soon after he off from the plane, Thai Airways TG.431 from Bangkok, the officers found the crystal powder like sugar kept inside of his water heater in cardboard box.</p>
<p>Drugs detection tool showed the stuff he carried contain 35 percent ketamine. The defendant confessed that he carried ketamine belong to Jaffar who want him brought it to Bali and paid for 5.000 Rupee or 1 million Rupiah.</p>
