			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Integrated young kid’s education (PAUD) in Sanur Kauh Village, Denpasar in those recent years had reached poor kids to follow pre-school education. “Parents in remote villages are seldom to register their children to the pre-school education whether child care, playgroup or kindergarten,” said the chairman of PAUD center Sanur Kauh, Ida Ayu Sastrika Patni Putri in Denpasar on Monday.<span id="more-713"></span></p>
<p>However since years ago, PAUD coordinator with village officials had come to the people’s houses one by one which has pre-school kids to push them to follow pre-school education, said her. “Poor family got subsidy for this pre-school program so their kids can shape their character early,” said Sastrika Patni who accompanied by the chairman of Sanur Kauh Village Made Dana. The amount of students in Integrated PAUD Sanur Kauh reached 260 students. They divide into 30 kids in playgroup level, 25 kids in playing team and 205 kids in kindergarten level. This PAUD educated Sanur Kauh Village kids whose parents usually worked as trader, civil workers and hotel officials in Sanur.</p>

The headman of Pokja III Team National PKK, Mrs Iswarto on Thursday said she want to watch the utilization of local house’ yard. She confessed the achievement of this village is great due to it can set aside thousand villages in Indonesia in this competition.<span id="more-706"></span></p>
<p>“This field checking will show us whether Berangbang Village including to the category of Major Paramahita or Madya Paramahita,” said Iswarto. One of the local house’s yard that inspected is belonging to Ni Komang Sri Kendel. Her yard looks well-arranged while it growth by kinds of fruit plantations, vegetables and flowers. “We didn’t need to buy spices due to it has growth in this garden,” said Sri.</p>
<p>Jembrana Regent, I Putu Artha who presented this assessment said many people in his area advantaging their yard to plant kinds of spices. Artha also confessed Balinese people shared their yard into three sections: Utama Mandala as holy site; Madya Mandala that covers the people’s house and the garden and Nista Mandala part which is used for trash and household waste.</p>

<p>“It is an important thing to do since Kuta has become a town famous worldwide,” said head of Badung Road and Water Circulation Arrangement Bureau Ida Bagoes Soerya in Denpasar.<span id="more-692"></span></p>
<p>Besides, Badung government also increasingly aware of the next few years ahead, Infrastructure in Kuta should fulfilling international standard.</p>
<p>“Moreover, Kuta today is the gate for tourism in Bali as well stands as the icon for Badung tourism destination,” Soerya said.</p>
<p>Some of the road that will go through quality development in Kuta this year is Padma Street, North Padma Street, Werkudara Street and Arjuna Street. Those eight kilometers street will be widening six more kilometer and completed with 1.4 kilometer of sidewalk in each side of the main road.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This championship is competing Balinese script writing as the series of Art and Sport Week for Students (Porsenijar) Denpasar 2012. It followed by 84 students this year as it is increasing than the participant’s amount in 2010 as much as 30 persons. The chairman of Balinese Literature Institution I Gede Nala Antara as jury team said the participant of this competition is increasing while Balinese script rarely interests youngsters.<span id="more-680"></span></p>
<p>The competition covers Balinese script writing in lontar and transfering latin script into Balinese script. According to him, the competition of Balinese script writing on Junior High School grade in this year followed by 42 persons while the same competition on Senior High School grade also followed by 42 persons. Last year this competition only attracted 15 Junior High School students and 15 Senior High School students. He said this effort is surely related with the attention of government to succeed increasing education quality in this island. “Balinese literature world is standing as the source of acknowledgment to record good behavior either social ethics amongst people,” said him. He said Denpasar students are expected to loving literature world to prevent recent moral degradation.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Shalat (pray) Friday yesterday followed by hundreds Muslim though it held in an ‘emergency’ site in Education Park Al Qur’an (TPA) Al-Hidayah Gatsu on Gatot Subroto VI Street, Teruna Sari Banjar, Denpasar. The Friday pray led by khatib and priest Drs H Daldiri Samsuhadi as it followed by 300 prayers. The prayers coming from surrounding areas and some stayed in Bedahulu-Nangka street area.<span id="more-671"></span></p>
<p>The TPA hall filled by nine row prayers and it is widening to the street on two long carpets. Unfortunately when khatib delivered his summon, rain dropped the prayers who stayed outdoors and they soon looked for shady sites. Shalat Friday kept by two pecalang, Gusti Sucita and Made Tunas. Kelian Banjar Wayan Sutha and Pecalang Chairman Made Bagiyo also watched the praying activity. They messaged the prayers to keep environmental orderliness. “We are supporting Moslem people and we are also expected to support Hindu people who walked on ‘Tapa Brata Penyelian’ ritual,” said Wayan Sutha.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tornado hits tourism object in Bali, that is Tanah Lot in Kediri-Tabanan on Saturday (March 17th) at night. An international restaurant, Pande Temple, traditional Bale and some facilities collapsed due to that natural disaster. No casualties in this catastrophe yet the wind also destroyed some billboard and big trees in Tanah Lot.<span id="more-669"></span></p>
<p>The wind starting to happen at 11.00 pm. This combination of wind and rain occurred for 30 minutes. The most damaged was happen to The Ocean Bar and Restaurant, west of Batu Bolong. This wooden building razed. Luckily, the restaurant was close when it happened. There is only a security guard. “We already closed at 09.00 pm. everything closed when it happened,” said manager The Ocean Bar and Restaurant, Wayan Subrata on Sunday.</p>
<p>Aside from restaurant, a relaxation bale belongs to Tanah Lot management was also flat to the ground. Meanwhile, roof or Pande Temple destroyed along with Tanah Lot’s wantilan – traditional communal bale – meanwhile Tanah Lot temple, which is located in the midst of the sea only suffer minimum damage. “Since the wave still great, we cannot check the temple thoroughly. But the damage looks not too serious,” said Tanah Lot operational manager, Toya Adnyana.</p>
<p>The wind also knocked down several big trees in Tanah Lot. Among them was the twin Tamarind and Banyan Tree in Batan Buah. Some billboards collapsed also a toilet and some souvenir shops.</p>

<p>“Since Saturday, there were many people came and bring their cock for this massive cock fighting at Hyang Api temple” said I Wayan Yoga Sudira, Banjar Keliki Kawan citizen in Kelusa village.</p>
<p>This massive cock fighting is part of Hindu traditional ritual in Bali in celebrating Kuningan Day falls every once in six month. This cock fighting is payment symbolization to Bhatara or God sit at that temple.</p>
<p>People starting to gather at the Cock fighting area in Hyang Api temple from 06.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. “The event run for one month seven days,” Wayan Yoga said.</p>
<p>Those cock fighter owner starting to find their rival to make an agreement thus the fight started. Every cock comes with spur tied at it left. “The two cocks can fight anywhere as long as it still in the boundary of Hyang Api temple,” Wayan Yoga said. There are lots of them lay bets on that fighting though they believe not as a form of gamble.</p>
<p>“It was tradition. We do it since we believe that all cattle would die if we don’t,” said villager head, I Wayan Suda.</p>
<p>According to him, that ritual is part of action to ask for God’s protection toward their cattle.</p>
<p>I Wayan Kertiyasa, Petulu Village citizen, Ubud District of Gianyar Regency confessed that he joined the ceremonial every year at this Hyang Api temple.</p>
<p>“At the temple I also asked for holy water for my cattles,” Wayan Kertiyasa said.</p>

<p>“We viewed this plan as an important act due to the increasing number of elder people in Bali,” said head of Bali Provincial Public Relationship Bureau, Ketut Teneng in Denpasar.</p>
<p>After accompanied the Governor Made Mangku Pastika meeting head of Bali Provincial Elderly Commission, Agung Arnawa, he said that the bulding would be build in the area of Wredatama Orphanage in East Denpasar.</p>
<p>“Physically it will in shape of big pavilion to be able to accommodate large number of elderly for them doing their activities,” Teneng said.</p>
<p>He considered that elderly needs more attention and appreciation. It can be done with us provides them representative facilities that suit their hobby, which finally able to give them happiness.</p>

<p>Head of Denpasar Traffic Agency, Commissary Bima Arya Viasa SIK, informed it.<span id="more-624"></span></p>
<p>The traffic closure to Kuta Beach are through Sunset Road – Raya Kerobokan then Sunset Road – Mertanadi, Sunset Road – Kunti Road, Sunset Road – Nakula Road. Some of them will be closed and directed to Seminyak Kuta. Meanwhile, Patih Jelantik Road – Legian will be closed to the Ground Zero, Dewa Ruci cross road closed and diverted to Setiabudi Road and traffic light Kuta closed and reroute to Kuta.</p>
<p>“Yesterday, we gave brochures to people according this traffic closing. We also enforce 157 polices officers for safeguards,” he explained.</p>
<p>Before closing the road at 04.00 pm, he explained that Denpasar Police Officer will cleaning the parking area starting from Legian Raya Street, Kuta Beach Street, Melasti Street, Dewi Sartika Street and Singosari Street.<br />
“Latter, around 04.00 all road to Kuta will be closed,” he explained.</p>
<p>Bima said that the road directly headed to Kuta Beach will only through one gate only that is through By Pass Ngurah Rai Kuta, at the Dewa Ruci cross road precisely the Patung Kuda traffic ligh in Tuban where people will further find where to park their vehicle along the road. That is why for people who want to celebrate New Year in Kuta Beach, they will be directed to Imam Bonjol Street and parked their vehicles at central parking then walk to Kuta Beach.</p>
<p>The police had prepared the parking area centralized in three locations. They are at Central Parking Kuta, formerly Morning Market and Trisakti Field in Kuta. In securing the New Year night, Bali Police has enforced hundreds of their personnel from all forces, as if in drugs division, reskrim Samapta and traffic division.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stand massage of the blind people keep having high visitor on Denpasar Festival 2011.</p>
<p>Head of Human Resource, Social and Transmigration Agency of Denpasar, Made Erwin Suryadarma said that the stand dedicated to give massage treatment for those who needed it from the blind people.<span id="more-620"></span></p>
<p>“They are professional since they had been thought long and given training in this field that they dare to give the treatment. And their ability is not far left from that of normal people,” said formerly Denpasar head of Public Relationship and Protocol.</p>
<p>According to him, the stand has been open since Wednesday and there are tens’ of people who used their service. Most of them just want to try their service but some seriously consider having the treatment for their blood circulation.</p>
<p>“There are many people who use their service. It also due to their experience in this field,” he said.</p>
