<p>“We viewed this plan as an important act due to the increasing number of elder people in Bali,” said head of Bali Provincial Public Relationship Bureau, Ketut Teneng in Denpasar.</p>
<p>After accompanied the Governor Made Mangku Pastika meeting head of Bali Provincial Elderly Commission, Agung Arnawa, he said that the bulding would be build in the area of Wredatama Orphanage in East Denpasar.</p>
<p>“Physically it will in shape of big pavilion to be able to accommodate large number of elderly for them doing their activities,” Teneng said.</p>
<p>He considered that elderly needs more attention and appreciation. It can be done with us provides them representative facilities that suit their hobby, which finally able to give them happiness.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The same with previous years, approaching New Year 2012, the traffic to Kuta Beach will be closed. The closing will be starting from 04.00 pm and will be open once again on the next day, 01-01-2012.</p>
<p>Head of Denpasar Traffic Agency, Commissary Bima Arya Viasa SIK, informed it.<span id="more-624"></span></p>
<p>The traffic closure to Kuta Beach are through Sunset Road – Raya Kerobokan then Sunset Road – Mertanadi, Sunset Road – Kunti Road, Sunset Road – Nakula Road. Some of them will be closed and directed to Seminyak Kuta. Meanwhile, Patih Jelantik Road – Legian will be closed to the Ground Zero, Dewa Ruci cross road closed and diverted to Setiabudi Road and traffic light Kuta closed and reroute to Kuta.</p>
<p>“Yesterday, we gave brochures to people according this traffic closing. We also enforce 157 polices officers for safeguards,” he explained.</p>
<p>Before closing the road at 04.00 pm, he explained that Denpasar Police Officer will cleaning the parking area starting from Legian Raya Street, Kuta Beach Street, Melasti Street, Dewi Sartika Street and Singosari Street.<br />
“Latter, around 04.00 all road to Kuta will be closed,” he explained.</p>
<p>Bima said that the road directly headed to Kuta Beach will only through one gate only that is through By Pass Ngurah Rai Kuta, at the Dewa Ruci cross road precisely the Patung Kuda traffic ligh in Tuban where people will further find where to park their vehicle along the road. That is why for people who want to celebrate New Year in Kuta Beach, they will be directed to Imam Bonjol Street and parked their vehicles at central parking then walk to Kuta Beach.</p>
<p>The police had prepared the parking area centralized in three locations. They are at Central Parking Kuta, formerly Morning Market and Trisakti Field in Kuta. In securing the New Year night, Bali Police has enforced hundreds of their personnel from all forces, as if in drugs division, reskrim Samapta and traffic division.</p>
<p>“All will be centralized in Kuta, as under instruction from Bali Head Police that all officers should get down to the street and secure the New Year night in Bali,” he said.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stand massage of the blind people keep having high visitor on Denpasar Festival 2011.</p>
<p>Head of Human Resource, Social and Transmigration Agency of Denpasar, Made Erwin Suryadarma said that the stand dedicated to give massage treatment for those who needed it from the blind people.<span id="more-620"></span></p>
<p>“They are professional since they had been thought long and given training in this field that they dare to give the treatment. And their ability is not far left from that of normal people,” said formerly Denpasar head of Public Relationship and Protocol.</p>
<p>According to him, the stand has been open since Wednesday and there are tens’ of people who used their service. Most of them just want to try their service but some seriously consider having the treatment for their blood circulation.</p>
<p>“There are many people who use their service. It also due to their experience in this field,” he said.</p>

It records five percent increase rather than last year’ earning,” said the Head of Labor, Transmigration and Social division Denpasar, Made Erwin Suryadarma Sena on Wednesday.<span id="more-615"></span></p>
<p>He said the minimum wage in Denpasar this year is about Rp1,191,500. According to Erwin, the employee wage increases after related side did a survey about price in the market. “Survey that held by Labor Council had meant to fix proper life stock,” said him. Erwin said besides base on price survey, the UMK increase is also considered the labor’s wage in other regency/city.</p>

There were 7 dances as complementary part of religious ceremony proposed by the government, such as Barong and Sanghyang Dance.<span id="more-601"></span></p>
<p>Head Documentation and Publication of Research and Development Center for Culture and Economy, Teguh Harisusanto stated that Bali traditional dance suggested to UNESCO is part of Bali dance lived since long ago and its existence spread all around Bali. Those traditional Bali dance proposed as part of representative list intangible culture heritage.</p>
<p>“We put the dance onto Representative list Intangible iculture heritage, it still under research in UNESCO, either it deserve or not to entering the next phase, ,“ said Teguh Harisusanto.</p>
<p>Harisusanto added that on 2013 targeted that all Indonesia suggestion to UNESCE would receive recognition. It is very important in preserving culture in Indonesia.</p>

<p>“LPD as one of monetary institution belongs to local village community, either people realized it or not, directly or indirectly, it indeed give certain benefits for the local development process,” said assistance of Badung Economic and Development, Dewa Made Apramana in Mangupura.</p>
<p>He said that the success of this institution could not determine by their total asset or number of profit gained.<br />
“Support in term of representative office facilities could bring positive impact in gain and raise people believe,” he continued.</p>
<p>Apramana who is also head coach of LPD in Badung asked LPD executives to act optimally in realizing people believe toward LPD so it will still become the favorite for micro monetary at rural level.</p>

<p>“Our effort to add more tourism facilities in Bali, such as hotels and conferences hall with international standard should utilized areas or lands with no productive effect for agriculture in the island,” said General Manager Hotel Inna Kuta Beach, Made Mertha in Kuta, Badung Bali.</p>
<p>According to Mertha, if the tourism facilities and infrastructure will use non-productive land afterward they will be able to give economic and positive effect for the local people there.</p>
<p>“If the facilities and infrastructure of tourism in Bali build on non-productive land it eventually will give positive impact to local people. They could become the labor or even enliven the local economic growth,” he continued.</p>
<p>The same support also uttered by General Manager Hotal Bali Niksoma Kuta, Nyoman Astawa.</p>
<p>“Program from Bali Province, ‘Green Province’and ‘Green Tourism’ will be realized if the investor in Bali willing to make use of the non-productive land as the tourism facilities and infrastructure. What once infertile could become fertile green land and give positive impact,” he said.</p>
<p>Astawa added, specifically in its development regarding to the tourism development, indeed environment change is unavoidable. We should also respond positively toward that change in our local environment.</p>

<p>Bali fighter for Silat was targeting to become the champion for NSC in Denpasar, said head of Sekum IPSI Bali – Indonesia Pencak Silat Association in Bali – Nyoman Yamadhiputra in Denpasar.</p>
<p>This ambition to become the great in their area based on their latest achievement as the runner up at Pencak Silat National Championship at Kampar Riau last July.</p>
<p>Nyoman who stated that IPSI Bali is ready to become the champion in this Pencak Silat National Championship has make IPSI Bali had choose their athletes as earlier as possible. They formed scout team and prepare all means needed in order to go to National Championship qualification round.</p>
<p>Those chosen onto National Championship qualification are now under three months intensive training. The competition itself will be held on October 17, 2011 – January 10, 2012 and the winners will get tickets to Riau.</p>

<p>Facing over the effect of global economic crisis, one of the clothing businessman and exporter in Denpasar, Made Sudana, mentioned that the businessmen need help to create new market share.</p>
<p>Bali Provincial Government and entrepreneurs need to make anticipation movements concerning the economic crisis especially in real sectors as the impact of weakening economic growth in USA and European Union.</p>
<p>It is considering most consumers coming from countries of those contingents. Varied small industries and handicrafts with artistic and cultural value produce by Balinese together with others non-oil and gas products are fully welcome in those countries.</p>
<p>“To anticipating the effect of global economic crisis threatened US and Europe toward our small industry business, we need to have strong cooperation and well maintained synergy among the government, business world and other institutions,” Made Sudana said.</p>
<p>Bali export realization up to August 2011 is quite stable even if there is 3.6 percent foreign exchange declining, from 358.3 million Dollars into 345.3 million US dollar.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the realization of non-oil and gas export from Bali to Europe during January-August 2011 was 110.9 million US Dollar while in the same period in 2010 was 121.7 US Million Dollar meanwhile to US it keep increasing from 65 million USD to 71.4 million USD.</p>
