Chat Cafe - A Chat, a Sip and a Byte!
Who needs yet another Internet Café in Bali? Even one that is actually a café in more than name only, serving snacks, meals and drinks. Add free Wi-Fi, but many places in Seminyak already have that. Think it will work? Think not! That was, of course, without allowing for the Marinos factor! That man, who alone virtually created Eat Street [Jln. Laksmana, Kerobokan] by opening the cheap, good value Mykonos Taverna, 6 years ago, has done it one more time. This time it is a cheap, stylish, air-conditioned café/lounge bar, with FREE internet [you can bring your own laptop or use one of the two café computers].
La Sal - Ole! Ole! OLe!
This time a few years ago Ricky Martin was singing that song about the previous World Cup, in Spain. If he was in Bali today he would be singing it about our latest Spanish restaurant. Another missing link in the great Bali cuisine calendar has been patched in.
Rio Bar & Grill - A Night in Rio!
A Brazilian feast, in Bali! At lunch the waiters masquerade as football stars in their Brazilian uniform, the names on the back you will recognize, the faces not. In the evenings more somber attire is adjudged more appropriate. Rio is new in Bali, and to be found on the site of longtime favourite, Veranda. The ownership/management stays Scandinavian, just moves from Sweden to Finland.
